Friends of Everhart Park
Challenge
Community organizations do some of the most important work in any neighborhood, and they rarely have the brand presence to show for it. Friends of Everhart Park has protected and programmed one of the region’s most beloved green spaces for decades, running a full events calendar and maintaining the Firefly Sanctuary that draws visitors from across the area. What they lacked was a visual identity strong enough to communicate that value to new donors, new members, and new visitors encountering the park for the first time.
Solution
Open Haus has been a long-term creative partner for Friends of Everhart Park, bringing the park to life visually across a range of materials. We designed membership drive signage built for the park’s outdoor environment, illustrated a detailed park map highlighting its many distinct areas and landmarks, created a signature banner for the Firefly Sanctuary, and developed ad materials and promotional pieces that gave the organization a consistent, vibrant presence across print and outdoor channels. Each piece was designed not just to inform, but to deepen the emotional connection visitors feel to this green space.
Result
Friends of Everhart Park now shows up in their community with the kind of visual consistency and craft that signals organizational strength, the kind that reassures donors, attracts members, and makes residents proud. The park map alone has become a hands-on guide that deepens visitor engagement and supports the mission to make the park more discoverable and more beloved.
