Kyle’s Treehouse: Illustration Graphic Design
Challenge:
Kyle’s Treehouse was founded by Jeffrey and Jennifer Westphal, whose son, Kyle, was diagnosed with autism. Before joining Open Haus, our lead designer created illustration graphic design for Kyle’s Treehouse. These illustrations were incorporated into an interactive online children’s book. This digital book is a favorite feature on the Kyle’s Treehouse website. Now on-board at Open Haus, the designer was asked to expand the brand and illustrations to develop an engaging, invitation for an autism fundraising event.
Solution:
The “Build a Treehouse. Build a Dream.” concept was carried throughout by designing five perforated pieces that could be punched out, folded and connected to construct a three-dimensional event date reminder.
Result:
Recipients not only received important information on the fundraising event but they had a whimsical printed reminder of their mission and keepsake of the brand through our creative use of illustration graphic design.
